Introducing : 2deep The Southern President
Alot of the Southern rap hotbeds right now are buzzing with new talent who are keeping the legacy of country rap tunes alive and well. What I noticed sometime ago though was that Memphis was mighty quiet as far as new artists that were earning a name for theirselves and generating ‘blog buzz’ if you will. My nigga Criminal Mane is doin his thang, and a few others, but Memphis, with its rich Southern Rap legacy, in my mind HAD to have some other dudes out here making quality music. 2Deep is one of those dudes. Hailing from Orange Mound, the home of greats like Eightball & MJG and underground stars like M-Child, 2deep is ready to carry on the legacy of Memphis and carve his name into the same desk as some of Memphis’ finest. Hit the jump for an introduction to 2deep’s music, if you aren’t already aware.
