The Paper Route Gangstaz, now recognized around the world, have always been about quality over quantity. Their latest mixtape, Hood Headlinaz Vol. 2, is the end product of months of work and a slow-burning internet marketing effort. One thing we’ve seen lately with artists like Drake, Yelawolf, Freddie Gibbs and others is that one or two well thought-out, polished, and truly dope mixtapes can do more for your buzz and therefore your career than can a rapid-fire slew of throwaway joints. The PRGz seem to have recognized that trend, and with Hood Headlinaz 2, they deliver a high-quality, album-like mixtape that will likely stick in fan’s minds for some time to come. Presented in conjunction with DJBooth.net and our fam at Traps N Trunks, this mixtape looks to be one of the best of 2010 so far.
