The Best News I’ve Heard All Day
Props to the homie Phil at the end of the video for pointing out “sin taxes.” Hypocrites like douchebag Assemblyman Niello pretend the government doesn’t co-sign one of the biggest known killers in America strickly for the money - cigarettes. If we’re fine with the fact that smoking is the most preventable cause of premature death in our society then obviously we should be fine legalizing something that has yet to result in one death.
As a Californian (albeit a new one), I gotta say this: weed is already basically legal here. All you gotta do is make up a story for your doctor and have enough money to pay for the prescription. I would love to see it be fully legalized, and I think that time is coming soon. The Feds need to get smart and realize that A) Alcohol kills more than any other “drug” out there and B) The tax revenue alone (although I believe taxes are unconstitutional) is woth it.
