B.G. (Baby Gangsta) first hit tha scene in 1993 as apart of a group with Lil Wayne called the B.G.’z on Cash Money Records. His first solo album was the classic “Chopper City” in 1996 which featured classic records like ‘Retaliation’ and ‘Niggas N Trouble’ with classic collaborations from Mac and Bun B. Not to mention the memorable Hot Boy$ albums that were released, “Get It How U Live!!!” and “Guerilla Warfare”. B.G.’s first major label solo album “Chopper City In The Ghetto” with the single “Bling Bling” introduced the term to the world. He left Cash Money in 2000 after claiming to be fucked out some money by Baby & Slim. He released 6 albums post-Cash Money including the latest 2009’s “To Hood To Be Hollywood”.

Southern Legends: Ghetto Mafia

Atlanta OGz Nino & Wicked dropped classic material throughout the mid-90′z. From their debut album “Draw The Line” in ‘94, to the latest ten years later, 2004’s “Da Return of The Ghetto Mafia” they have dropped consistent street classics. They gained the most success from 1998’s “On Da Grind” album which featured the hit single “In Decatur”. Nino & Wicked represented the A-Town unlike any other rappers I have heard. Even though they lacked the mainstream commercial success that many other ATL rappers have experienced, they kept 100% street to the core. Real Southern Niggaz appreciate that.
