How did the BlvdSt thing start and what do you bring to the table?
I got tired of seeing blogs misrepresent my city and region. If it’s hot or dope it should be promoted. OJ Da Juiceman is the hottest thing in the streets right now. Yet if you go to ANY Atlanta or Southern blog you’ll never even see his name mentioned. I know payola exists at radio already but seeing blogs get payola and pass off paid promotion as music journalism is the worst. I’m sorry to say it but Asher Roth’s street buzz doesn’t rank anywhere near the top 10 right now. But if you read a blog from Atlanta or the South you would believe so. I just want to get back to strictly music and not rumors or gossip. Rumors are for high school girls, not hip hop fans.
