G Mane - So Amazin

Produced by Mick Vegas.

A classic joint from KD himself from “The Last Man Standing”. Before theze fad, fruity niggaz called polo and nikes futuristic and blacc boi whyte boi swag, etc., KD kept it G. I been wearing polo since middle skool bitch. The song features a sample from Lil Keke’s “The Southside”, and a soul sample from Temptation member and Birmingham, AL native, Dennis Edwards. By the way, KD iz actually sitting heavy n the chevy, breaking conkrete, Polo on my body and nikes on my feet in the picture. So TRILL.
Lil Keke tha don said it was not just 4 tha Southside of H-Town, but tha whole south. I remember jammin’ 2 tha remix with 8Ball on it, which elevated it to classik status. Real, trill country rap tunes

Thiz track is from KD & Burn One’z first tape “Last Man Standing”. The Tracklist and download link after the jump.
One of my favorites-Willie Hutch “I Can Sho’ Give You Love”
One of the most talented musicians I have ever heard. The Dallas, Texas native is responsible for many soul hits. He wrote several songs for the popular soul group the Fifth Dimension and penned the hit song “I’ll Be There” for the Jackson 5. Also, Willie co-arranged the vocals on the Jackson 5 songs “Got To Be There” and “Never Can Say Goodbye.” Hutch produced Smokey Robinson’s first album without the Miracles. He recorded a slew of his own albums on the Motown label which include “The Mark of the Beast,” “Concert in Blues,” “Color Her Sunshine,” and “Havin’ a House Party.” Willie wrote the song “Keep the Fire Burning” for Gwen McCrae. He collaborated with legendary Motown producer/songwriter Berry Gordy on “What Have We Got to Lose,” which was a duet between Arethra Franklin and the Four Tops; the song/production “Hello Detroit” for Sammy Davis, Jr., and the soundtrack album for the immensely enjoyable martial arts action picture “The Last Dragon,” which features Hutch’s rousing song “The Glow.” Willie also worked as either a producer and/or songwriter for such artists as Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, and Junior Walker. Perhaps, Hutch was best known for composing the scores for the excellent cult favorites “The Mack” and “Foxy Brown.” (more…)

EDIT: Apparently Grand Hustle hasn’t gotten the T.I. sample cleared from Atlantic yet. Go figure.
If you’ve wondered what that song with the T.I. “it ain’t trick’n if you got it” sample is like me, here it is. They are playing this all over the A right now. Although I can’t co-sign trick’n (even though I’ve been known to get a few dances), the song does jam.

Baby Pacino aka Lil Mario is an artist on Dirtys “Blackklown Records” down in Mobile. Not sure who produced this one but it goes hard. Fuck wit it.
SLHM Totta hails from Huntsville Alabama, who pretty much are responsible for some of the best southern music being crafted in quite some time. This track continues the trend IMO, as it has a throwback sound to it. Seriously, the beat sounds like some shit that woulda been made in 94, 95 and thats not a bad thing by any means. The Mob Music/G Funk sound influence is evident in this piece and Im fuckin with it tough. I chopped it up with Totta and expect to hear more from dude real soon. He also fucks wit TRU records so you know wassup. Free C!
