Here’s the original version of the interlude joints from the latest (and final) UGK album. The beat is a raw version that still contains the sample from which the music is based around and it’s got a different Bun verse.
This goes hard. Dukes drops a couple dope verses as usual and Fat Boi finally comes with a beat that doesn’t sound like everything else he’s ever done. No hate, I’m just saying joints like this prove that diversity is the key to keeping the listeners ear open.
The homie Pill goes in over Keri Hilson’s current hit and Drake’s rising hit. I got a chance to preview some more new music from 4075 The Refill and his joint called “Let Me In” is classic. Mark my words!
Here’s the unreleased video that was shot for Killer Mike’s permanently shelved second album Ghetto Extraordinary. Directed by Hype Williams. Props to WhiteboyD. This is dope.
Before David Banner put Mississippi on his back and on the hip hop map, he and his partner in rhyme Kamikaze did it with thiz classik southern LP. IMO, this is one of the most underrated and slept on albumz of all time. The 1999 album features guest appearances from Pimp C and Noreaga. This album was groundbreaking because Crooked Lettaz was one of the few Southern “conscience” rappers. They spit thought provoking lines, instead of your gangsta, dope, pimp tales, typical southern rap subject matter. One uv KD’z most influential albumz.
