This song changed my life. I’m not sure exactly how but I felt different about the world after I heard it for the first time. From the Lamont Dozier sample (The Inspiration coming soon) to Andre rapping his motherfucking ass off, this record is easily one of my top 10 songs of all-time. It sounds just as fresh today as it did in 96′. If you want to escape reality for a minute then I highly suggest you light up, turn down the lights and jam this shit.

Before your favorite rapper of the minute claimed he was futuristic because of his 80’s haircut (?) 3 stacks dropped this record on the Andre & Big Boi presents Outkast album and let the world know how disappointed he was in trendy-ness that had taken over hip hop. Thankfully, instead of letting his anger get the best of him and make an obligitory diss record he decided to channel it into creative energy and created one of the finest records in Outkast’s immense catalog.
